Ben Franklin Transit was excited to debut their four new Military Appreciation Buses and announced on November 9, 2023, the board of directors unanimously voted to provide free fixed-route service to all veterans. Riders can look for the new buses in service in the coming week. These buses have been a team effort and long-time dream of many here at the agency. Check out the announcement video here.
If you, or a Veteran you know, needs a bus pass, bring proof of service and come on down to the center to pick one up. This bus pass is good for a lifetime!
